Tehran and Beijing agreed to increase trade turnover to $600 billion

Almaty. January 25. Silkroadnews - Iran and Beijing agreed to increase bilateral trade to $600 billion, foreign mass media reports.
“Iran and China have agreed to increase trade turnover to $600 billion in the next 10 years”, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani was quoted on the press conference after a meeting with President Xi Jinping.
In addition, the parties have signed 17 agreements on various areas of cooperation, including those ones in nuclear, transport, ICT, culture, science, education, economy, industry, and judicial sectors.
At the same time, Xi Jinping and H. Rouhani have discussed the extension of economic and political relations between two countries after the lifting of sanctions against Iran.
To remind, the Chinese leader paid a visit to Tehran by the invitation of the President of Iran. This is the first visit of the Chinese President to Iran for the past 14 years.
