Almaty. December 4. Silkroadnews - Tehran hosted conference on Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei’s letters to Western youth, the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reported referring to Tasnim News Agency.
“Iran’s capital of Tehran on Sunday hosted a conference to discuss the impacts of the two letters that Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has sent to the youth in Western countries. The “Dawn of Truth” conference kicked off in Tehran on Sunday morning with a host of political, academic and cultural figures in attendance,” the report said.
It is noted, the conference marks the anniversary of Ayatollah Khamenei’s second letter addressed to the Western youth in 2015.
Imam Khamenei first wrote a letter to the youth of Europe and North America on January 21, 2015, to tell why the West is making so much effort to spread Islamophobia.
Later on November 29, 2015, after a series of terrorist attacks in France, Ayatollah Khamenei sent the second letter in which he described the real factors behind terrorism and asked young people “lay the foundation for an appropriate and honorable interaction with the Muslim world based on correct knowledge and with deep insight and by taking advantage of tragic experiences (of the past).”
“The ongoing conference in Tehran involves speeches from Chief of the Leader’s Office Staff Hojatoleslam Mohammad Mohammadi Golpayegani, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, and Ali Akbar Velayati, Leader’s senior advisor on international affairs”, the report reads.
Hamidreza Moqaddamfar, chairman of the popular Ayatollah Khamenei’s letters propagation committee, also presented his report on activities by people inside and outside Iran to introduce the younger generation to letters both in the real world and in cyberspace.
A number of artists will also be awarded for their cultural work on these letters and their influence on young people living in the West.
Two letters of the Leader to the Western youth is rapidly circulated through the social networks, although Western and Zionist media tried to censor the message.
