Tehran is ready to cooperate with Ankara to transport gas to the EU
Almaty. August 12. Silkroadnews – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif announced his country’s readiness to cooperate with Turkey in the field of natural gas sale and transit, TASS reports.
“We have political will to continue cooperation. We are ready to work together on energy, electricity and gas transmission lines connection with Europe”, M.J. Zarif said at the press conference after talks with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.
He also noted, that Iran is “ready to cooperate in increasing gas supplies to Turkey and considers this issue as a priority”.
“The agenda includes joint investments of our business communities, strengthening of cooperation in the field of tourism”, the Iranian diplomat said.
