Tehran rejected the repeated claims of the UAE to the three Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf

Almaty. March 31. Silkroadnews - Tehran has once again rejected the territorial claims of the United Arab Emirates to the three Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
"These islands are an integral part of the Islamic Republic of Iran. All activities on the islands are carried out in strict accordance with the sovereign rights of our country", - said the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Marziya Afham at a briefing in the Iranian capital on Monday.
Such statement press secretary of the Iranian Foreign Ministry gave in response to the raised question on ownership of the islands Abu Musa, Greater and Lesser Tunb in the Persian Gulf at the last summit of the Arab League, which was held in Sharm el-Sheikh at the end of last week.
However Afham noted that her country's policy is based on a clear commitment to the principles of good-neighborliness, mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of states in the region.
