Tehran suggested Tbilisi to use the Yazd technopark center to enter the Iranian market

Almaty. March 15. Silkroadnews – Tehran invited Tbilisi to use the Iranian-Georgian Technology transfer center in the Yazd Science and Technology Park to enter the Iranian market, the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reports.

The center was opened within the framework of the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency delegation’s visit to Iran.

Iranian businessmen suggested their Georgian counterparts to use this center as a working space to enter the 80-million Iranian market. Within the framework of the visit, the agency representatives also held meetings to consider future cooperation with the biotechnology laboratory in the Yazd Science and Technology Park with IT and technology companies, officials of the ministry of science and senior managers of the science and technology park, the report said.

The Georgian agency carried out presentation on the Georgian investment environment to the representatives of Iranian companies interested in opening representative offices in Georgia.

During the visit to Iran the agency representatives and the Yazd Science and Technology Park officials signed a memorandum on mutual cooperation, which major subject is to deepen the development of innovations and technologies.
