Tehran to host a meeting of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization

Tehran. September 2. Silkroadnews - Annual Meeting of the Asian-African Consultative Organization of Legal Affairs (AALCO) will be held in Tehran on September 15, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Tuesday, citing Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Islamic Republic of Iran on International and Legal Affairs Abbas Arakchi. It is expected that meeting will be attended by foreign ministers of the member countries of the international organization, as well as senior officials of the judiciary from 49 states.
According to Iranian diplomat, the main topics of discussion at the event will be questions of international law and the latest developments in the Middle East.
A.Arakchi pointed the importance of the summit of AALCO in Tehran in light of the increase of violence and terrorist activity in the region, adding that the participants of the meeting will exchange their views on the legal aspects of the fight against these scourges.
