Tender for the Kyrgyz field Irisay has been canceled due to field location

Almaty. January 26. Silkroadnews - The State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Management canceled the auction for exploration of the Irisay gold field in Chatkal district, Jalal-Abad region, KyrTAG writes.
“Tender has been canceled due to the fact that the gold target at the Irisay field is located on the territory of the Besh-Aral reserve. According to the government regulation, the exploration works are prohibited in the territory of the reserve”, the spokesman for the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Management Risbek Toktonaliev said on Thursday.
He added the reserved price for the field amounted to 2.800 million som.
