Terrorist group operation was suppressed in Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. March 29. Silkroadnews - International terrorist group operation involved in the preparation of acts of terrorism and sabotage was suppressed in Kyrgyzstan, KyrTAG reports.

“In March 2016 the State Committee for National Security in the course of counter-terrorism operations against the international terrorist organizations on the territory of one of the provinces of the republic suppressed the illegal activity of seven members of the underground terrorist organization,” the state committee for national security reported.

It was established that the members of the underground terrorist organization carried out recruiting activities, formed a channel to deliver recruits to the area of combat operations, prepared to commit sabotage and terrorist acts on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

Currently, all the members of the terrorist group have been taken into custody.

The investigative and operational operations are carried out in the framework of the criminal case.
