Textile complex with processing capacity of 52 thousand tonnes of cotton fiber put into operation in Tajikistan

Almaty. August 31. Silkroadnews – A new textile complex was built and put into operation in Dangara district of Khatlon region of Tajikistan, TajikTA reports.

«The cost of textile complex CJSC «Dzhuntay Dangara Sin Silu Textiles», which first stage's opening ceremony was attended by the country's president, Emomali Rahmon, exceeds 600 million somoni ($76.3 million)», the press service of the head of state informed.

The complex' s capacity allows processing of 52 thousand tonnes of cotton fiber and production of 150 million meters of cotton textile products.

The plant provides a full-time employment for more than six thousand citizens of the county. The complex has been built using the Chinese investments and is fitted with equipment provided by the United States, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and China.
