The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was opened in Beijing

Almaty. October 18. Silkroadnews – The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was opened in Beijing, the Silkroadnews news agency reported.
The opening ceremony took place at the Great Hall of the People and started with the speech of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
People’s Daily reported that all 38 delegations participating in the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China had arrived in Beijing and registered by the evening of Monday. The delegations represent 31 provincial-level administrative regions, departments of the CPC Central Committee, central government bodies, enterprises under control by the central government, central financial system, the People’s Liberation Army, the Armed Police, as well as CPC members of the Taiwan origin.
More than 2,200 delegates elected from more than 89 million CCP members across the country participate in the congress. They will discuss the 18th CPC Central Committee report, the report on the work of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and amendments to the CPC Charter.
The congress is also expected to present the new leadership of the CPC and set a plan for the development of the state for the next five years and beyond.
