Almaty. July 24. Silkroadnews - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has lowered the forecast of economic growth in Kazakhstan in 2016 from 3.8% to 3.2%, stated a new report of ADB.
Also, the information indicates that the Asian Development Bank lowered the growth forecast for 2015 for developing Asia to 6.1% from 6.3% due to slower-than-expected economic activity in the United States of America (USA) and the People's Republic of China (PRC).
In addition to the forecast of development of Asia for 2016, published in March, the ADB also forecasts growth in gross domestic product (GDP) at 6.2%, lower than the previous forecast of 6.3%.
According to the report, the current sluggishness in the major industrial economies (US, Japan, Eurozone) will affect the slowdown in East Asia as a whole, which reduced growth forecast to 6.2% from 6.5% in 2015.
Activities of the Asian Development Bank is aimed at reducing poverty in the Asia and Pacific region through inclusive economic and environmentally sustainable growth, and regional integration.
