The biggest raise so far this year is carried out for petrol and diesel prices in China
Almaty. October 20. Silkroadnews – China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced the new gasoline and diesel fuel prices as of October 19, saying gasoline prices will increase by 355 yuan per tonne, while diesel prices will be up by 340 yuan per tonne, Chinese media reported.
For China this is the seventh and at the same time the biggest rise in fuel prices so far this year. The adjustment is based on fluctuations in the world crude market. Since the beginning of 2016 gasoline and diesel in China rose by 670 and 645 yuan per tonne respectively.
The National Development and Reform Commission demanded from the major domestic oil companies - CNPC, SINOPEC and CNOOC – to comply with the requirements of the state pricing policy, efficient production organization and supply of the petroleum products.
