The border guards of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will conduct joint air patrol of border
Almaty. 10 September. Silkroadnews - Almaty hosted a working meeting between the chairman of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan Rayimberdi Duyshenbiev with Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan - director of the Border Service, Darkhan Dilmanov, reported KyrTAG.
During the meeting the heads of border departments discussed issues of further development of cross-border cooperation, focusing on joint measures to combat modern threats of border security.
After the meeting, reached an agreement on intensifying cooperation in all areas of service of combat departments. Border delegations agreed on a joint air patrol of Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border. In addition, it was decided to hold joint border exercises in the first half of 2016.
The sides noted the need to enhance cooperation of border agencies on the local and regional levels, within which will be periodically held working meetings with the participation of representatives of border chiefs engaged in the direct protection of the state border.
The parties also agreed on the elaboration of the issues on preparation of Kyrgyz personnel in military educational institutions of Kazakhstan. In addition, the Kazakh side proposed to train junior specialists for border controls.
The head of the border agencies of Kyrgyzstan visited the Academy of Border Guard of National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, where he got acquainted with the modern infrastructure of the institution.
Following the meeting, the parties signed a "Protocol of the working meeting of heads of border departments of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan".
