The central region of Kazakhstan need seismic hazard forecast map

Karaganda. June 23. Silkroadnews - Emergency Department (ED) of the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan after the incident on Saturday requested earthquake seismologists to develop a predictive map, KazTAG.
"We have sent a request to the Institute of Seismology. Ask them to help to make the predictive map if there is a danger of repetition of such shocks. We will wait for a reply from them", - says Talgat Nurmagambetov the chief of the area at a press conference on Monday.
He noted that to date, no one can forecast whether there is a threat of recurrence of tremors. "You know very well, our region has never belonged to the seismically active, we have no seismic stations", - said T. Nurmagambetov.
According to him, the earthquake was anomalous. It was noted that the earthquake has affected even the weather conditions.
