The Chinese government from June 1, will stop regulating the prices of most medicines
Almaty. 5 May. Silkroadnews - On June 1, 2015, the Chinese government will cease to set fixed prices for the "vast majority" of medicines, reported the Xinhua news agency.
According to the State Committee of China's National Development and Reform Commission, the price of medicines will be regulated by the market. The exception will be only drugs and certain types of psychotropic drugs, whose prices will continue to be set by the government.
"The planned reform of the price will support competition in the market of medicines and the form mechanism of fair pricing",- convinced the director of the China Pharmaceutical University Chang Feng.
The government plans to strengthen supervision at all stages - from production to circulation and use of medicines. The authorities are taken to ensure proper quality of medicines.
