Almaty. October 27. Silkroadnews – After creation of a new parliamentary majority coalition the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers may be 25-30% reshaped, political scientist Zhypar Jeksheev says, KyrTAG writes.

He added, the new coalition will be formed by three fractions: Social Democratic Party, “Republic - Ata-Jurt” and “Kyrgyzstan”.

“The new coalition composition will determine who will stay or leave among the government members. Yet I believe it’s better not to make big changes. The personnel affairs cannot be played with. This would result in the country’s economy suffering and stability getting impaired. Thus, they should keep the core composition. Most likely, the Prime Minister will continue to work at his post as his performance’s results are not that bad. All the fractions are ok with his candidature. In case “Republic - Ata-Jurt” joint the new parliamentary union, the government will get 25-30% reshaped”, Z. Jeksheev said.

The expert also notes, the Social Democratic Party fraction resigning from the coalition was quite predictable, due to “many contradictions observed for the recent time”.

“As for “Ata Meken” party, Omurbek Tekebayev has repeatedly said his fraction will not leave the majority coalition. Someone had to initiate the coalition break-up. The deadlock was to be broken. Indeed, it creates a lot of inconvenience, as the members of the government turned into the acting members. The coalition break-up caused quite many problems”, he concluded.

It was reported that the majority coalition that included fractions of the Social Democrats, “Ata Meken”, “Kyrgyzstan”, “Onuguu-Progress” has officially announced their breakup. The Social Democratic Party acted as an initiator of the parliamentary union breakup.

Later, the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev signed a decree “On the resignation of the government of the Kyrgyz Republic”.
