The cost of calls to Kazakhstan for Uzbek people from July 1 will increase by a quarter

Almaty. June 16. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan from July 1 will increase the cost of tariffs for international telephone communications with a number of countries of the former Soviet Union by 25%, reported KazTAG.
The updated price list for universal telecommunication services is approved by the Ministry for the development of information and communication technologies in Uzbekistan, informed the national operator "Uzbektelecom" on Tuesday.
In particular, the amount of payment for each complete and incomplete minute of conversation with the countries of Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan) will be increased from 400 to 500 sums. A similar tariff with Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova will be increased from 440 to 550 sums, with the countries of the South Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia) - from 500 to 625 sums. Last time rates for international calls to these countries was increased in August 2009 - by 20%.
