The Dutch company will invest $55 million in the textile complex in Uzbekistan

Almaty. March 26. Silkroadnews - Dutch LT Textile Cooperatief UA in 2015-2016 plans to build in Kashkadarya region in southern Uzbekistan textile complex worth $55 million, said UzTAG with reference to the representative of the State Joint Stock Company (SJC) "Uzbeklegprom".
The design capacity - proessing of 20 thousand tons of cotton fiber and production of 15 thousand tons of cotton and mixed yarn per year.
Recall, in October 2014 LT Textile signed with the government of Uzbekistan investment treaty providing in 2015-2016 investments in the amount of $55 million. In particular, the Dutch company has committed to invest at least $17 million of its own funds and at least $38 million in loans from foreign banks attracted without guarantees of the Uzbek government.
