The economy of Hong Kong is recognized as the world’s freest economy

Almaty. September 29. Silkroadnews – The economy of Hong Kong is recognized as the world’s freest economy, the information portal China News reported.
“The government of China’s Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Thursday welcomed the Fraser Institute's recognition of Hong Kong as the world's freest economy in its latest report on economic freedom,” the report said.
Of the five areas assessed by researchers in determining the degree of economic freedom, Hong Kong, according to the latest report, has achieved a high level of “regulation” and “freedom of trade internationally”.
As stated by the government, it will support the principles of economic freedom vital to maintaining Hong Kong’s competitiveness, as well as an open and free environment for trade and business, the rule of law and an independent judiciary and efficient governance.
