The European Parliament has ratified the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU

Almaty. September 16. Silkroadnews - President Poroshenko signed a law on ratification of the Association Agreement with the European Union, reports "Ukrinform".
It is reported, the Verkhovna Rada by 355 votes approved a bill on ratification of the agreement. Synchronously consideration of the document passed in the European Parliament, which approved a resolution to a majority vote of members of parliament at the plenary session in Strasbourg.
It is noted that the text of the Association Agreement consists of a preamble, 7 sections: "General Principles," "Political dialogue and reform, political association, cooperation and convergence in the field of foreign and security policy," "Justice, Freedom and Security", "Trade and issues related to trade "," Economic and industrial cooperation ", "Financial Cooperation", "Institutional, general and final provisions".
The document also includes 44 applications, 3 Protocol and Declaration, which are also part of the agreement.
By bill on ratification applied a statement which expressed the readiness of Ukraine to fulfill obligations to ratify the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, 1998, under Article 8 of the Agreement, after appropriate revisions to the Constitution of Ukraine.
