The European Union will allocate €13 million on Kyrgyzstan’s electoral system reform

Almaty. April 18. Silkroadnews - The European Union (EU) will allocate €13 million to Kyrgyzstan for the electoral system reforms, KyrTAG reports.

“We have studied all the conditions; all the ministries took part. The project has been approved by the ministry of finance. Now we ask for your approval,” said the chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda Tuigunaaly Abdraimov at the meeting of the committee on budget and finance of the Jogorku Kenesh on Monday.

In its turn, the committee approved the financial agreement on the program “Improvement of democracy through the electoral reform – grant for the sector’s reforming.”
