Almaty. October 7. Silkroadnews - Since the beginning of this year, the volume of exports of Chinese-made cars to the countries of Central Asia through Xinjiang custom post has decreased, reports the agency "Xinhua".
According to Urumqi Customs, at the end of August this year through Xinjiang post, the country exported 11 thousand. Vehicles, which is 21.8% less compared to the same period last year. At the same time, the cost was $380 million with a fall of 31.3%. In particular, were exported 8529 of trucks (a decrease of 21.1%). The volume of exports of special purpose vehicles amounted to 1,398 units (a decline of 17.5%).
In January-August 2014 through Xinjiang post from China to Uzbekistan were exported 2823 car, the rate has doubled compared to the same period last year.
To Tajikistan and Turkmenistan were exported 2054 and 1511 car increasing by 56.2% and 71.2%, respectively.
The volume of exports of cars in Kazakhstan amounted to 2674 units with a decrease of 68.4%.
