The first Trans-Eurasian freight train from China arrived in Latvia

Almaty. November 7. Silkroadnews – The first Trans-Eurasian freight train from China that left on October 20 on Yiwu-Riga route arrived yesterday at the central station of the Latvian capital, the newspaper “People’s Daily” informs.

It is noted, the train run more than 11 thousand km on the territory of China, Russia and Latvia and delivered the goods to the shores of the Baltic Sea, having marked a beginning of a new stage in the history of two countries’ cooperation in the field of transport and trade.
