The head of Iran doubts the sincerity of the United States in combating terrorism

Tehran. September 16. Silkroadnews - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani expressed doubts about the sincerity of the international coalition led by the United States in the eradication of militants "IRLI" in Iraq and Syria, reports the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
This opinion was expressed by H.Ruhani overnight in Tehran during his meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajcak.
"It's probably some sort of joke, since countries that trained, armed and sponsored terrorist groups are now suddenly, unexpectedly, trying to deal with these terrorist groups", - said the president.
The head of Iran expressed concern about the growing threat of terrorism in the Middle East, including Iraq and Syria, and called on all countries to adopt a common approach to combat this.
In turn, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia expressed interest of Bratislava in establishing closer ties with Tehran in matters of counter-terrorism and extremism in the Middle East.
Miroslav Lajcak noted the important role of the Islamic Republic in ensuring stability and security in the region, pointing to the need to use the full potential of this country in the eradication of terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria.
As recalled by the agency in Paris on Monday was held a meeting of representatives of 40 countries to discuss measures to combat "IRLI". Iran to this meeting was not invited.
