Almaty. November 10. Silkroadnews - "The Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde urged the Saudi Arabia government to reduce economic dependence on oil by means of reforms", - informed the newspaper "Vedomosti".
During the talks with Saudi King Salman bin Abdel- Aziz al-Saud, Finance Minister Ibrahim al-Asaf, Christine Lagarde said that the country's economy must be adapted to the fall in oil prices.
"It is important for the government to speed up reforms that will increase the employment of nationals in the private sector and diversify the economy, reducing dependence on oil", - she said.
