The Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline will be ready by 2017
Almaty. October 8. Silkroadnews - Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline may start in two years, reported local media.
As the oil minister of Pakistan Shahid Abbasi Hakan, now the country in order to compensate the shortage of fuel buys liquefied natural gas. In general, every day Pakistan needs more than 4 billion cubic meters, so the Iranian gas would solve the problem of lack of fuel.
Earlier in Tehran it was said that one year is enough to connect Iranian and Pakistani part of the pipeline. However, this will be possible, if Islamabad fulfills its part of construction, the report says.
