We have provided 130 billion tenge to banks for mortgages - "long" cheap tenge, which have already gone to the banks. This money is going to solve the problems of mortgage holders, for refinance. This is a serious amount of money and unprecedented measure. We give it to final borrowers at 3% for 20 years. This is a very good opportunity for banks to use them for credits", - he explained.
In addition, were sent money to the fund of problem loans.
"We alloccated 250 billion tenge for problem loans, and this amount goes into the merged bank - Kazkommertsbank and BTA. Its market share would be 24-25%. This is a serious amount of money. A very large amount of money is going through "Nurly Jol". If the banks were taking money from abroad, now we have replaced this by internal funding", - said K.Kozhahmetov.
According to him, Kazakhstan has more than $24 billion deposits of individuals.
