The markets of Kyrgyzstan sell pesticides from burial under the name of anti-insect powder

Bishkek. June 18. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz market sell pesticides under the name of anti-insect powder taken from burial grounds, reported KyrTAG.
"This powder is implemented as means against insects, pest and so on. Such product shall be bought only with label. If you buy, you should pay attention to the fact that each product should have instructions, marks and specify the country of manufacture."- said the national coordinator of the Small Grants for Global Environment Facility of Kyrgyzstan Eugeniya Postnova on the press conference on Wednesday.
Deputy head of the state administration of Jalal-Abad region Asylkan Ramankulova reported that from 2002 to 2012 in Suzak district there have been several attempts to tamper burial "Suzak-A" to collect these powder. Later these product was illegally brought to the local markets and sold as pesticides of persistent organic pollutants.
