Almaty. May 24. Silkroadnews – Gold Ounces’ price made $1242.65 as a result of the morning interbank fixing in London.
Regarding the Monday evening fixing in dollar terms it declined by 3.25.
The cost of gold ounce in euro made 1111.178 (-2.407), and in British pound 852.706 (-8.336).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
