The National Bank of Tajikistan has raised the refinancing rate up to 19% per annum

Almaty. February 19. Silkroadnews - The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) Bank increases the refinancing rate up to 19% per annum, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Friday.
“As of February 18, 2016, the refinancing rate has raised by 1 percentage point and makes 19% per annum,” - the publication says.
Such a measure has been taken to ensure the effectiveness of monetary policy, decrease the exchange and inflationary pressures.
The day before the NBT set the interest rate on the loans as provided to the credit institutions at 18% level.
