The National Banks of Tajikistan and Qatar have agreed on cooperation

Almaty. February 7. Silkroadnews – Tajikistan and Qatar have signed eight new cooperation agreements, TajikTA reports.

Within the framework of his official visit to the State of Qatar President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held in Doha talks with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the publication states. Following the talks, the sides have signed eight cooperation documents.

In particular, Tajikistan and Qatar approved an agreement on cooperation in provision of security and fighting against crime; a cooperation agreement in education, higher education and scientific research; air transport agreement and cooperation agreement on health.

Also, an agreement on cooperation in the field of culture and sports was signed between the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan and the Qatar Olympic Committee.

National Bank of Tajikistan and Central Bank of Qatar signed an agreement on cooperation in banking field, and the ministries of justice of the two states agreed on cooperation in the legal field.

E. Rahmon invited Emir of Qatar to pay an official visit to Tajikistan.
