Almaty. January 8. Silkroadnews - The European Union has confirmed that the next round of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program (INP) will be held in Geneva on January 18, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Thursday.
In November 2013 in Geneva, "six" international mediators (Russia, USA, UK, France, China and Germany) and Iran agreed to prepare an agreement that ensures the exclusively peaceful nature of Tehran's nuclear program in exchange for a full lifting of sanctions. A year later, no such agreement had been worked out in time - by 24 November 2014, there is only an "interim plan of action". Partied extended negotiations until the end of June 2015.
