The railway route Tajikistan-Afghanistan-Turkmenistan will be determined in 2015

Almaty. January 26. Silkroadnews - This year will be determined the route of the railway Tajikistan-Afghanistan-Turkmenistan, reports Tajik news agency (TajikTA) with reference to the Minister of Transport of Tajikistan Khairullo Asozoda.
According to him, in the definition of the route remains the consistent of Tajik railway section with Turkmenistan.
The next step will be developing a feasibility study for the project, to which the Asian Development Bank will lend Tajikistan $9 million.
Transport Minister stressed that Tajikistan negotiates with the Turkmen colleagues on this issue, and it is expected that this year the will be resolved the harmonization and development of the feasibility study.
Recall that a preliminary version of the project included the laying of rails, length of 635 km, 445 km and 160 km.
Earlier, ADB announced its readiness to finance the Tajik and Afghan project sites. Turkmenistan provides his land at its own expense.
