Almaty. December 15. Silkroadnews - In Kyrgyzstan, Osh was held a joint meeting of border agencies of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, informs the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"The sides discussed the current threats and their impact on the evolving situation on the state border of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, summed up the activities of border representatives of the parties for 2014, identified the main task of maintaining stability on the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border, the organization of interaction and cooperation in 2015", - reported the press service of the Committee for state Border Protection national Security Service of Uzbekistan.
In addition, have been considered problematic issues for joint protected area boundaries and ways to solve them.
The parties noted the willingness and interest in further development of cooperation on all issues of mutual interest and to ensure reliable protection of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border.
The meeting was attended by the first deputy head of border agencies and the commanders of the military units of the parties directly involved in the protection of areas of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border.
