The Saudi Fund for Development will provide Tajikistan with $35 million for construction of schools

Almaty. May 17. Silkroadnews – The Saudi Fund for Development will provide $35 million for the construction and equipping of schools in Tajikistan, Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Wednesday.
“A ceremony of signing a loan agreement for 131.25 million Saudi riyals ($35 million) under the project
“Construction and equipment of schools, phase 4” between Tajikistan and the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on May 16”, the report says.
It is noted realization of this project is to meet the needs in the education system and increase the number of students in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The project is expected to be completed in 2023.
