The total volume of the Ukrainian-Chinese investment projects exceeds $7 billion

Almaty. May 24. Silkroadnews – The total amount of public investment projects currently implemented by Ukraine and China exceeds $7 billion, the newspaper “People’s Daily” writes.

As the Ukrainian First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Yulia Kovaliv said at the session of the Kyiv International Economic Forum “Ukraine – China: New Silk Road”, the key areas of the joint investments are the infrastructure, energy and agriculture.

The government wants to continue to develop the mutually beneficial relations, including the attraction of China’s private business investments, Y. Kovaliv noted.

In his turn, Liu Jun, an Advisor to the Office of Trade and Economic Affairs of the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine, said the two sides can enhance their cooperation in the field of nuclear technology, construction of roads, production of electric vehicles, garbage disposal, as well as the creation of the economic belt of the Silk Road.
