The unemployment in the EAEC in August 2015 made up 5.4%

Silkroadnews - The report of EAEC commission in accordance with the methodology of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) estimated unemployment rate in the whole EAEC in August 2015 at 5.4% of the economically active population, including in Kazakhstan - 4.9%, Russia - 5.3%, Armenia - 9.1%, Belarus - 6.1%. Kyrgyzstan - 8%.
According to the Commission, the number of registered unemployed in EAEC countries by the end of August 2015 amounted to 1 million 196.5 thousand people, or 1.3% of the economically active population. Compared to August 2014 in Armenia the number of registered unemployed increased by 14,2%, in Belarus - by 2.1 times, in Kazakhstan - by 5.5%, in Russia - by 13.5%, in Kyrgyzstan decreased by 2 ,8%.
