Meanwhile, in late April, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the delivery of Russian anti-aircraft missile systems S-300 to Iran is a matter of short time, and will be affected by further agreement between Moscow and Tehran. He refused to give specific predictions about the date of commencement of supply.
Recall, on April 13 this year, the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a decree that would allow Iran to convey the Russian anti-aircraft missile systems S-300.
As reported, in April, at a meeting in Moscow, the defense ministers of Iran and Russia have agreed to continue the bilateral consultations on the technical parameters of the expected transfer to the Islamic Republic of Russian air defense systems S-300 in order to complete the delivery later this year.
