The US and China have decided to establish direct contacts between the land forces of the two countries

Almaty. June 12. Silkroadnews - the United States and China agreed to expand military cooperation and to establish direct contacts at the level of the armed forces, reports the newspaper "Kommersant".
As noted, the decision was made after a meeting in Washington of US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter and a deputy chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, Colonel-General Fan Chanlun.
"This framework agreement will create a new channel of communication between our army commanders and give them an opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest, including the provision of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief", - says the publication.
