The volume of import in Kyrgyzstan in 2015decreased by 41%
Almaty. February 4. Silkroadnews - The volume of imports to Kyrgyzstan in terms of value in the past year decreased by 41% compared to 2014 year. This was announced by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service (SCS) under the government of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Sulaymanov, KyrTAG reports.
“The total volume of imports of goods in 2015 in value terms made $3 billion 393.8 million, which is by $2 billion 326.8 million less to compare with 2014. Thus, the total volume of imports fell by 41%. In 2014 the total volume of import will make $5 billion 720.6 million,” - A.Sulaymanov said during the board meeting on Thursday.
He also added, in physical terms it made 4 million 514.9 thousand tons, i.e. 3 million 382.5 thousand tons less to compare with 2014. In 2014 the total imports amounted to 7 million 897.4 thousand tons.
“The total volume of imports of goods from the third countries amounted to $2 billion 138.4 million for last year, which is $1 billion 122.9 million less than in 2014,” - said the deputy chairman.
According to the Eurasian Economic Commission, as a whole the volume of imports of goods by the EEU state-members for Jan-Nov 2015 amounted to $186.6 billion. Compared to the same period of 2014 the volume of imports decreased by 35.9% or $104.4 billion.
