According to him, currently in intercontinental freight traffic between Asia and Europe is dominatng maritime transport, which accounts for over 98% of traffic, which creates great opportunities for transport in transfer to inland corridors.
"The accelerated development and growth of exports from central and western provinces of China will contribute to achieving of our goals", - said A. Mamin.
He recalled that in 2012 to provide quality services KTZh organized service of high-speed container trains.
"As a result, we expect the growth in container traffic in 2015 by 17 times over 5 years (1.25 in 2011 to 42.4 in 2015) and will reach 951 thousand TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent - Silkroadnews) in 2020". - he said.
