The winners of the contest "Kazakhstan by the eyes of foreign media" were journalists from Guyana, Belgium, Qatar, Malaysia and Ukraine

Almaty. July 3. Silkroadnews - The winners of the international contest "Kazakhstan by the eyes of foreign media" were journalists from Guyana, Belgium, Qatar, Malaysia and Ukraine, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"On July 1 Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan summed up the results of international contest "Kazakhstan by the eyes of foreign media". Geographically competition attracted journalists from North and South America, Europe, Asia, Middle East and CIS countries. In accordance with the rules of the competition were identified five winners, who will be awarded by the trip to Almaty, Astana and Burabai"- said in a statement on Thursday.
From Guyana the winner is Neil Marks for an article about the similarity of some of the cultural traditions of Kazakhstan and Guyana, the winner of Europe recognized journalist from Belgium Sibylle Greyndl for an article about the prospects of Kazakhstan energy from renewable sources. The winner of the Asia is journalist from Malaysia Nurshazlinu Nurazman for series of articles on the tape news agency Bernama about Astana and Almaty. Best publication of the Middle East became a journalist from Qatar Hussein Ahmad with material on political and economic development of Kazakhstan. The winner from CIS countries is Svetlana Ostrovskaya from Ukraine for a report on Kazakhstan entitled "Prairie Tale".
It is reported that Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerlan Idrisov noted the high level of all submitted works.
In the press release notes that the works of the winners will be available on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In addition in each of five regions were identified two additional publications, whose authors will receive certificates with gratitude on behalf of the jury.
