The World Bank issued Uzbekistan two loans of $305 million for the reconstruction of roads and rehabilitation of sewer networks
Almaty. July 2. Silkroadnews - The Board of Directors of the World Bank (WB) approved a government of Uzbekistan two loans totaling $305 million for reconstruction of roads and rehabilitation of sewer networks, reported UzTAG on Thursday.
Both loans will be provided by the International Development Association (IDA), which is part of the WB. Means are provided for 25 years with a 5-year grace period.
Recall that Uzbekistan joined the World Bank in 1992.
