This August China's export grew 5.9%
Almaty. September 8. Silkroadnews – This August China's exports in yuan value grew 5.9% compared to the same month of last year, while imports growth made 10.8%, Chinese media reports with reference to statistics data provided by General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.
Thus, in August China's trade surplus reached 346 billion yuan ($51.9 billion), having dropped 5.1% compared to the last year volume.
With this for the first eight months of the year the total volume of foreign trade decreased by 1.8%, in particular, exports fell 1% and imports dropped 2.9%. The positive balance of foreign trade during the same period of time grew 5% up to 2.31 trillion yuan.
Statistics shows that in January-August 2016 China's bilateral trade with the EU rose 3.5%, with the U.S. – fell 3.2%, with the ASEAN countries – fell 1.1%.
