This year Afghanistan’s state revenues may double – Ghani

Almaty. August 9. Silkroadnews – This year Afghanistan’s state revenue may double compared with 2015, president of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani stated, AfTAG reports.
A. Ghani said about this speaking at the ceremony of awarding the medal for professional achievements to the Minister of Finance Eklil Hakimi.
According to the ministry of finance, in 1394 of the Solar Hejri calendar the state revenues grew by 22% having reached the amount of 120.75 mln Afghani ($1.773 billion).
The president noted that the revenues level has increased due to the outstanding work of the minister and his department, who achieved such a significant growth under tough economic environment.
