Tourism in Kyrgyzstan goes through the stage of stagnation, says the profile department

Almaty. June 24. Silkroadnews - Tourism of Kyrgyzstan is in the stage of stagnation. This opinion was expressed by the head of the Silk Road Tourism Association Vladimir Komissarov, reports KyrTAG.
"At the moment tourism is going through a stagnation stage. This phase began in 2005. We can not say that there are no development at ll. There is, but it is insufficient. Tourism Development provides false information. Even if we take the example of 2014, the data on the number of tourists visiting our country - 3.5 million people, is implausible",- said V.Komissarov.
According to him, the problem of tourism occurs many years.
"In Kyrgyzstan, today there are three main problems in tourism - the lack of public policy in the industry, the factors that hinder tourists to get to Kyrgyzstan. Nobody knew about us 20 years ago and still do not know. Finally, the availability of Kyrgyzstan. To come here is impossible. The problem of the open sky is exaggerated but not solved", - concluded the head of the association of tourism.
