Trade between Kazakhstan and China reaches USD 5 bln within first quarter
Astana. May 13. Silkroadnews – Trade between Kazakhstan and China reached USD 5 bln within the first quarter of 2014. This signifies an 11% increase, as the First Deputy PM, Bakhytzhan Sagintayev reports.
As he informs, Kazakh export to China reached USD 3,5 bln, while import from China reached USD 1.4 bln. FDI from China to Kazakhstan between 2005 and 2013 has reached USD 11 bln.
“This positive trend makes us hopeful about the possibility of reaching USD bln in trade with China by 2016. This is the goal set by our President”, The First Deputy PM Sagintayev concluded
