Trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan exceeded $500 million
Almaty. May 3. Silkroadnews – The trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan exceeds $500 million, a representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported during the Kyrgyz-Kazakhstani business forum on Wednesday, KyrTAG writes.
“Kazakhstan is one of the major Kyrgyzstan’s partners in trade and economics. 86% of all electrical energy, 96% of dairy products, 56% of vegetables and fruits and 52% of clothing exported by the Kyrgyz Republic goes to Kazakhstan. At the same time Kazakhstan provides Kyrgyzstan with wheat, coal, inorganic chemicals and mineral raw materials”, the report said.
It is noted that this time the business forum is attended by representatives of around 30 Kazakhstani companies producing food, construction materials, mechanical engineering, chemical, construction, pharmaceutical and packaging goods.
