Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the I half of 2014 grew by 25% to $1.6 billion

Tashkent. August 29. Silkroadnews - Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the I half of 2014 increased by 25% and totaled to $1.6 billion, reports Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"In January-June 2014 the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, was $1.6 billion, which shows a 25% growth compared to the same period in 2013", - said in a statement.
According to Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Boribay Zheksembin during a briefing in Tashkent, Kazakhstan is one of the leading trade partners of Uzbekistan, ranking third after Russia and China.
