Almaty. August 13. Silkroadnews - In the first half of 2015 the main importers of Tajik products were Turkey and Switzerland, reported the Tajik news agency on Thursday.
Thus, the export of Tajik goods to Turkey in this period was done for about $120 million, accounting for 27.6% of total exports in Tajikistan in the first half of this year. To Switzerland RT exported goods worth more than $92.6 million (21.3%).
In particular, 26.5% of total exports in Tajikistan in January-June this year falls on the base metals, 23.1% - for precious and semi-precious stones and metals, 22.2% - for mineral products, 18.1% - for textile materials and products, 6.5% - for vehicles, machinery and equipment, 4.4% - for plant products.
In the first half of this year, Tajikistan exported aluminum worth $109 million, representing about 25% of the total exports of the country. Total exports of goods in January - June this year amounted to $434.4 million.
Imports of goods by Tajikistan in the first half of 2015 is mainly done from Russia (31.6% of total imports), China (17.1%), Kazakhstan (16.8%).
